Six Week: Breastfeeding award

I am now the recipient of a "green award" by the La Leche League. This means that I've breastfed my baby for six weeks. I find this award to be quite an accomplishment. This award means a lot to me because it stands for hardwork and committment on my part. I have fed and nurtured my baby with my milk for six weeks(+). I did not set out with a goal in mind, only to try it and see where it went. It has gone extremely well for us. Joshua prefers the breast over a bottle and seems to be thriving v. well on my milk. My supply is ample and I even pump to fill our freezer in case a rainy day occurs. I'm not sure how long I will breastfeed this baby, but I hope for longevity.
