Announcing...

The birth of our second son, Joshua Quinn. He was born at 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2005 by repeat cesarean. He weighed 7 lbs. 15 oz. and was 20 3/4 inches long. He looks just like his brother, but chunkier. He is beautiful and perfect!

He has been in the Level II NICU since he was born. He had fluid on his lungs and a condition called TTN, which is pretty common in pre-term male caucasians. We hope he will come home Wednesday (tomorrow) or Thursday this week. We attribute his recovery to lots of prayers and special thoughts from family and friends (Thank you!).

More soon when we all get home and settled...

Congratulations Aimee! I followed your iParenting diaries and I'm thrilled to see that you've had another son. I'm sorry he went through so much in the NICU with his TTN. I wanted to tell you that my son also had TTN 2 years ago now. He was in the NICU for 5 days, but is doing wonderfully now. I hope the same for your son.
