The Cloud has lifted!

I don't know what it is about a baby turning three months old, but it sure feels like the sunshine returns and the clouds have lifted. It felt that way with Jacob and it feels the same with Joshua. I am getting more sleep uninterupted and feeling more adventurous. I actually have had a couple outings with both kids in tow which is outstanding (for me). We've gone to the park and attempted Walmart a few times. It wasn't that bad either.

Joshua's colic is settled and only strikes from 7-9pm at night, sometimes it doesn't strike at all. He's sleeping during the day at predicted times and nursing less often. Life is just generally getting easier and better with him. The newborn cloud has lifted and the infant sun rays are here. I enjoy this age because he is starting to interact. He coos and laughs at us now. He watches his big brother with admiration in his eyes, God save us! He can sit in his bouncy or exersaucer and actually enjoys it. He's trying to reach for toys and watches the fan. He's just getting more in tune with his surroundings which makes my life easier. I don't have to entertain as much. For awhile it seemed like all he did was cry and we're past that (knock on wood). I am enjoying this gig right now. Motherhood is going well with two youngsters.

Joshua has his three month pictures scheduled for next week. We have enough pictures of him to keep Kodak and Walgreens in business, but I do like to get professional pictures taken quarterly to frame and put out in the house. Mr. Big likes to have pictures in his office too for people that ask to see the kids.

Happy Three Months, Joshua.
