For the past two years or more Dave has been taunting Oprah on his show. Talking about her and how she hasn't come back. There has been this cloud of 'feud' between them, etc, etc. Mr. Big and I were delighted to hear that she was coming on the show this week. We stayed up late, sicker than dogs might I add, and watched her come on the show.
Oprah was glamorous and beautiful as ever. She is really a hot lady. I don't know what it is about that woman, but she has charisma and a presence about her. I like Oprah for the most part. I can't say I totally LOVE, LOVE, LOVE her or even worship her, but I do love the fact that she spreads the love and helps those in need. I remember watching the show where she went to Africa and brought gifts for the children living in poverty. These kids had never seen a doll or car toy in their lives. They had never owned a pair of shoes. I can not tell you how much I cried watching that show. The volunteers helping her that day were crying. Man, that was a touching show and I will forever be touched by it and will never, ever forget it. That made me want to be a better person. It really did. From that show forward I saw Oprah in a whole new dimension. She was and still is a good person. That is important in today's society. If you can help those in need and donate your time, effort and money then you should be commended.
Dave is hilarious. I love him. He is dry, sarcastic and funny. He reminds me of my brother in law. He's just a big old teddy bear under that hard exterior. I wasn't sure what he'd do once she sat down in his chair. He handled himself well and really did a great job interviewing her. I think she was even surprised. I'm somewhat disappointed however because he had her on his show and now he can't poke fun and whine about it. What will he focus on next?
