The Offer

I hope I didn't scare you off with my scary stretch marks! If not, cool, glad you love me that much to stay!

We received the formal offer last night. It was a good offer. We are going to make some revisions and counter back. The price was exactly our lowest acceptable "take". The only bad thing in the offer was they hired a realtor for themselves and want us to pay him 1.5% to represent us as well. Nope. We already have a friend that is representing us and we're paying him way below the 1.5%. So, we'll see what they feel about us removing that portion of the contract. Otherwise, all looked good. They are buying our fridge and asked for a home warranty. Should be smooth sailing once we iron out the realtor kinks. They want to close by 2/28.

We are going to look at the house we're interested in with the listing realtor tonight at 7pm.

I'm excited, but more scared, anxious and nervous. I'm not one for change. I will be fine once all is finalized and we're not so up in the air so to speak.
