Father in Law is ok!

He must have had an angel on his shoulder. All x-rays and cat scans have shown that there were no internal injuries. His bones are very brittle due to age and his spine didn't look that great, but he will see the bone doctor this week sometime. He had a minor collapsed lung, but nothing to worry about. He's in lots of pain and on morphine, but otherwise doing well. He was released early this morning from Ben Taub. It is amazing that he was able to walk out of there alive. His Suburban is totalled. He rolled it twice sideways down the Gulf Freeway. I'm still amazed and in awe of it all. What a night! I will never forget my 30th Birthday! Ever.
