The New Digs

The new house is really nice. It was built in 1998 and is a one-story, four bedroom, traditional style brick home. The kitchen is just gorgeous and the paint colors are pretty cool considering I don't normally venture into the world of color. One of the boy's room will need to be repainted as the current owners have three girls and it is currently painted in a girly green color with a Classic Pooh border. We'll go neutral in that room because it will be the nursery and we'll use it for Josh and #3 (in the future). We'll have an extra room for an office/spare bedroom/playgroom combo. The best part: The master bath has a JET TUB! I was sad at the thought of leaving my favorite feature of this home behind, but alas, I don't have to. The Lord works in mysterious ways. I am so glad this home became available. It was everything we were looking for and more. We are extremely happy with this home and can see our family living and growing in this place.

I can see Mr. Big carrying me across the threshold (hopefully he won't pull his back out!). I can see us bringing our next and last baby home to this house. I can see all the parties and gatherings taking place in this home. I just see us there and it feels good! We have a place to call home. We are just giddy with excitement!
