Prayers Needed!

My Father in Law was in a horrible accident this afternoon, about an hour ago. I was on the phone with him when it happened. He was calling to wish me a Happy Birthday. Long story short. He was side swiped, his surburban completely flipped. Every window in the truck was shattered. His tires blew out. He can't feel his legs or his back. Please, Please, Please muster every prayer you have for him. The one positive thing is that he was conscience and able to communicate. Otherwise he was in pretty bad shape.

Thanks!

**Edited to add: "Rose" that comment that you left was just plain rude and uncalled for. I mean, come on. The guy was almost killed last night. This is not a cell phone and driving debate, it was merely a request for prayers for someone that was in a severe car accident. Give me a break! You need to learn a lesson on tact.

OMG! I'm so sorry! I just read this. Oddly enough I had this twinge to call you this afternoon but I knew it was the weekend before the move and ya'll would be overwhelmed with packing.

Many prayers going out to KF!

Frig, what was he doing on the phone while driving! While I'm glad he's going to be okay, that's why cell phones and driving don't mix. Yes, he got sideswiped but was he paying his full attention to the road while on the phone? Oy! I don't think so. And consequently he didn't have all faculties available to help react! He's lucky to be alive at all. I hope he's learned his lesson from this experience.

Rose,
ARE YOU KIDDING ME WITH POSTING SOMETHING SO INSANELY RUDE ON THIS BLOG? AIMEE IS OUR FRIEND AND WE CARE DEEPLY FOR HER AND HER FAMILY.
YOU NEED TO THINK TWICE BEFORE POSTING HERE AGAIN.

glad FIL is OK! SHEW!

Oh right, I forgot freedom of speech doesn't exist on your diary and blog. Like I said, I'M GLAD HE'S OKAY, but IF HE HADN'T BEEN ON THE CELL PHONE HE WOULD HAVE HAD MORE AVAILABLE RESPONSE TO CONTROL THE VEHICLE. This is my last word on the subject, just something to mention to him, AIMEE!!!!!!

Sad to see that some things never change. Ay, rose?

Rose- I think that you comment is mean and uncalled for. I remember being often told when i was little if you cant say anything nice, dont say anything at all. Did you think maybe that even if he wasnt on the call, the results would be the same. He got hit from the side, not head on. Maybe it came in a blind spot and he never saw the car- either way, he got hit from the side and it is likely that he couldnt have avoided it!

I hope you are never in an accident and someone says to you, maybe YOU should have been more careful and YOU could have avoided someone hitting YOU.

Just a thought, not a sermon.

Jackie
