Hello Friday!

We're off to the Children's museum today. I haven't taken Joshua yet and I'm chomping at the bit. Houston has one of the best children's museum in the country. It is super neat. My parents are coming with today. I think they will really enjoy it. Anything Jacob enjoys, they enjoy. Typical grandparents.

I unpacked a few things yesterday and eliminated more boxes. My curio cabinet is now complete with all my little nick nacks and Harmony Kingdom collection. The formal dining room is pretty much together minus a few pictures needing to be hung and some garage sale boxes stacked on and under the table. (Wipes brow).

We got our first letter from the HOA Management company telling us to remove some lumber Mr. Big had stacked along the right side of the house. I thought it was funny because I had just commented to Mr. Big about how "trashy" it looked and inquired on why we needed to keep that lumber in the first place. He of course had a million different projects he had lined up for that very lumber and I just sighed and walked away thinking "yea right". So very mean of me, but so very true. The man doesn't even have time to mow his own lawn, why would he have time to build something? So, the lumber's plan is to go out with heavy trash. Thank you Management Company! You are my new best friend and I adore you! (insert evil wifey laugh here).

I spent my morning yesterday writing change of address letters to doctor's offices and dentists. I sent in handwritten checks instead of online payments to change our address on our cellphones and our credit cards. That was fun (NOT!). It's amazing how you will remember someone that you need to notify. We'll be here a month pretty soon and I'm still remembering.

I stubbed one of my toes yesterday and about ripped the nail right off the toe. It hurts like Hell today. Should be fun walking the Children's museum. I might have to wrap the toe up so its not so sore.

As you can see, my life is nothing exciting. I know my blog entrys are not going to win Pulitzer prizes or anything, but hey this is my life and I only have so much to work with here.

I once stubbed my toe so badly that I needed to get stitches. Yowser! I feel for ya!

A month already? Where has the time gone?
