girl, we've been pondering the whole potty thing for over a year...there is no book that can prepare you for it...we still only use the potty at school, at home, he simply says, "my pull-up is wet, change it"...great news uh? I say do it in the summer and teach them to pee off the porch, except my kid didn't like that either...ack! good luck
I don't have much advice on this...I didn't read anything, and both my girls are potty trained. Sarah potty trained the day she turned two, literally. (I always say it was God smiling on me because I had just had Audrey). And Audrey potty trained in December when she was 2 years 3 months. I just did the incentive thing. "If you pee-pee on the potty, I'll give you three m&m's". I'm all about the (bribery) incentives.
I have heard of a book called Potty Training in a Day that lots of people rave about....
