Happy Labor Day

Happy Labor Day to you and yours!

We started off our weekend with Mexican food and margaritas on Friday night. Always a good start to a long weekend. Yesterday we went to a party held by some friends of ours and let the kids play. They were worn out after a long day in the pool! Joshua walked the patio and entertained everyone invited. That boy is amazing and so cute! Jacob never stopped from the time his feet him the pavement and he caught up with his buddy, A. Those two are joined at the hip, which is awesome since his Dad was Jacob's Dad's best friend from middle school to current. It's amazing to me how they are naturally attracted to one another, as friends. Of course, the Dads beam at their friendship too!

Today we're going to the late church service followed by another party held by another set of friends. Today will be another day of the kids playing while the adults indulge in good food and drink. I'm looking forward to the relaxation and time spent together as a family. I always enjoy these times.

Monday we'll just kick back at home. I'll probably ask our parents over for some barbque. I need to make that phone call today. Otherwise we'll just be kicking back and enjoying a lazy Labor Day weekend.

Have a good one! Be safe.
