Dean, You are not welcomed here!

Hurricane Dean is all the buzz here in Houston and surrounding areas. The news is constantly stressing being vigilant and educationed on Hurricane safety and evacuation routes. After the last hurricane run, I can't say I'm too thrilled with the prospect of running again. Last time I had a nursing baby to run with and let's just say that trip wasn't the best trip I've ever experienced. If you were in Houston and ran from the last hurricane then you full understand where I'm going with this. This time, I'm not running. We are staying put and I refuse to run. We have rafts, life jackets, canned goods, bottled water, flash lights, candles, a small generator, and other goods that will help. Let's just hope that Dean doesn't hit anywhere because Hurricanes just plain suck!

Aimee PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE be safe. I don't know what I would do without you. If you need to sail away somewhere remember that we don't have hurricanes in Utah :)

Well, this time I will be the one with the nursing baby.

Last time we left early and avoided the traffic. We won't have that option this time with my husband's job and school starting on Tuesday. We still plan to evacuate if it looks bad and heading this way, but I am NOT looking forward to that traffic again. Just praying that it fizzles out and goes further south.
