Mother's Day Out and Mi' Madre.

Jacob started Mother's Day Out on Thursdays from 9-2. Life has been crazy and these Thursdays are really a nice refreshing break with just one kid instead of two. I love my boy and I'm ready to go and pick him up when 2 rolls around, but for those few hours I run errands, grocery shop, and just meander through stores with my one kidling. Today I went and tore it up at Target. If you haven't been there this week then run and go because they are clearancing out their school supplies, back packs and lunch boxes at 75% off. The prices are crazy and they might as well give it to you instead of charge you for it. Time to stock up!

My Mom has been sick again and she found out yesterday that she needs another surgery to have her gallbladder and ovary removed. She has stones in her gallbladder and her ovary has a huge cyst attached to it. I'm guessing a 56 year old woman won't need an ovary any longer so they just opt to remove it if needed. I'm hoping the surgery goes smoothly for her. She's been feeling bad since March and needs a break! She hasn't been able to keep food or liquids down for a couple weeks and she's having excruciating pains in her abdomen that keep her pretty much bed ridden. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers as she meets with the surgeon and goes through another surgery.

That sucks! Poor mommy. Don't mothers go through enough. Geez.

Thanks for the Target info. I'm headed there this afternoon.

That's great about Target. I love that place, too bad it's two hours away. We'll have one 20 minutes away next year. Yay!

That's too bad about your poor mom. My friend had her gall bladder out. It was relatively easy for her. The only problem she had was staying away from fattening foods after. I guess the gall bladder plays a roll in processing fatty foods and without it, well, frequent trips to the potty I guess.

Hope everything goes well for her.

I will keep your mom in my prayers. May her surgery go smoothly, and be the last one she has in a VERY long time.
