Fat and NOT happy!

You know that saying... Fat and happy. Well, I'm fat and not happy! I had my six week check up today. Let's just say the scale registered pretty high today. My scale at home is a piece of junk. I have actually gained back three pounds since I last checked. So... I said I wasn't going to diet, but I'm thinking otherwise now. What diet is safe while BFing your baby? Any idea(s) would be appreciated. Aerobics classes, here I come!

On a side note... all looked good in the land of the cervix and vagina (yes, I just said vagina!). Dr. Wonderful discussed birth control with us (ha... whatever!). We came to the conclusion that "being careful" would be okay until we are ok to try for another bambino. He suggested we wait a year before venturing into the land of baby #3 (as he looked at us like we were IDIOTS for wanting a THIRD!!!). I go back in six months so he can gawk at my goods and fondel my privates.

So... Help me ponder ways to lose some weight and get rid of these rolls. I want to get my body back!!!

I know the exact look you gave your OB at the mention of birth control- I gave mine the same look!!! Come on doc! If I got pregnant the normal way I'd be flippin' thrilled! But there is just no way! LOL.

I am dieting too- at least the 6 weeks left until my RE appt. I want 10 more pounds gone in addition to the 25 I've already lost. If I succeed, I'll be 25 pounds lighter than when I got pg with Brendan.

As with the dieting, as long as you have plenty of milk you can diet a bit- or so I've heard. Keep up the liquids though! Good luck!

Weight Watchers has a breast feeding program. It's the same at their regular points program but adjusted to compensate for the extra calories needed (and supposedly burned) while breastfeeding.
It helped me lose those last 15 pounds that were going nowhere on their own!
