The Great Diaper Debate

I use disposable diapers. I thought about using cloth, but went with disposables. The brands however have created quite a bit of debate in my playgroup lately. Women sat on the floor and discussed what brand they prefered over the other and why, all while their toddlers fought over toys. I sat in silence as I don't really prefer one brand over the other. I honestly buy whatever I have a coupon for or is on sale. The only diapers I will not buy are the ones with the sticky tabs that come undone (Dry Bottoms has these tabs). I prefer the velcro type fasteners as they stay put best on my little wiggleworm.

I was laughing inside as they were discussing the pros and cons of diapers. Pampers are more cloth like and don't make that "wwwshing" sound when the baby walks around. Huggies fit better and have "giggleastic" waist lines. White Cloud are just as good as Huggies and are cheaper. And the discussion goes on and on as I listen, but don't contribute.

Eventually someone focuses in on me and asks... So, Aimee, What brand of diapers do you prefer? Uh, my eyes grow wide and I answer... "They all just crap and pee in them anyway, what does it matter".

I think I heard a pin drop and then a record scratch. So-Anyone for a chicken salad sandwich, asks the hostess?

Uh, Yea... I'm THAT cool...
