Wah Wah Wa Wah Wah Wa (said like Charlie Brown's Teacher)

It's a typical Monday except Mr. Big took the day off to study and catch up around the house. He's been working a lot and hasn't had much time to breath. Poor guy. Josh woke at the crack of dawn full of smiles and good will towards men (or Mom in this case). He's brewing a poop at the moment in his swing. I can't disturb him until all is done there. So, here I sit. Jacob fast asleep in his race car bed and me alone on the computer. Mr. Big still trying to catch some Zzzzz's. I hope he's resting.

Yesterday night was Josh's Dedication service. We were prayed over by our pastor with both kids. They had a nice dinner for all the parents following the ceremony. We then had a fun type quiz that went over church polices in the nursery and school area. Quite funny and all common sense answers. Then they gave each child a bible and a certificate stating they had been dedicated.

Jacob spent most of his time in his class room eating pizza and playing on the indoor playground with his classmates during the dinner. He cries every time I drop him off. He has become pretty attached to his Momma lately. He eventually warms up and has a great time, but all the while he asks his teacher "Where's Mommy?" about a million times in between activities. She makes sure to share that with us when we pick him up. Not good. He def. is going into preschool next year for a day or two a week. He needs the social skills and he surely isn't getting them here watching me nurse Joshua all day.

Joshua, well, he looked dapper in his linen boutique outfit given to him by his Aunt. He was v. smily and happy which made the dedication nice. He's such a blessing to our family. I look at him and think about the days when we were trying so hard to have a baby. He is what comes with much prayer and faith. I thought I would never hold a child in my arms that was mine (DNA wise). He is my 2nd son and to me that is a true miracle. I love being a Mommy and pray for another child just like Jacob and Joshua. Except with different parts, maybe? In all honesty, I don't care if the baby comes with another "unit". I have always wanted three and penis or no penis-I'll love the baby just like I love these two miracle boys!

Totally changing the subject-
My Mom and brother (who has off work) might come over today. I'm not sure what we'll do. Right now there are pumpkin patches set up all over Houston. I was thinking about hitting a pumpkin patch and taking pictures. I'll have my "bitch" (my brother) with me to chase Jacob while I snap pictures. Ha ha! That's pretty sick! I just mean that he's so great with Jacob and Jacob worships him that it will be a pleasant pumpkin patch experience and don't we all want one of those? I know I do!

I'll upload some pictures when/if we take some. I also have some pictures from last night to share. I look like I'm on dope in all my pictures so I hate sharing those with the general public. My family knows I'm not on dope, but you might and well, that's how rumors get started.

Well-You have yourself a fine day! I will be around the house enjoying this nice crisp fall weather in Texas. Sniffing my three month old son's head. Kissing my two year olds sticky cheeks. and enjoying some conversation with Mr. Big while he graces us with his presense around the house today. Not to mention an adult visit with my Mom and Brother. Woh-It is a Banner Day at my house today! Some one give an Amen!
