Our Beach Day

We spent the day at the beach yesterday. A good time was had by all. Joshua loved crawling in the sand and feeling the water on his little legs. I actually put on a bathing suit for the first time in years and enjoyed the water myself. Jacob brought some sand toys and floaties. He laid in the water and let it rush over him as the waves crashed into the shore. He is getting so big. Just watching him run on the beach made me realize how big of a guy he's become. My parents came along and we're always glad to have them with us. I love watching them interact with the kids.

We were going to stay the night in Galveston, but my Mom didn't feel well after a long day in the sun. We decided to come home and sleep in our own beds. I wasn't complaining because I have plenty to do around here before Jacob's party on Saturday. We drove home, enjoyed a nice mexican dinner out and went to bed early. We were all beat after the Texas heat.

Friday Mr. Big arrives back on Texas soil! So excited.

Saturday is Jacob's Spiderman/Wet N' Wild Party. Sad he will be THREE, but excited for him since he will not stop talking about going to his party! Ha ha!

Sunday is his official birthday. I can't believe my "baby" is THREE! Sigh. Father's Day is Sunday too so we'll be sure to celebrate both. Still haven't bought Mr. Big a gift yet. Need to get to store and soon.

Yup! I like to think of it as the third anniversary for Jacob, Zoe and Me! Wow, how can the world handle so many great and wonderful people being born on the same day?
