Joshua had his first birthday party on July 8th. Festivities started at 2pm and ended around 5pm. We just invited family and a few close friends over to celebrate. We had finger foods and a Winnie the Pooh cake made by Joshua's Adda. The kids played and entertained the adults.
Joshua was cute as he worked the room. He had no idea the party was for him, but seemed to enjoy all the attention. He destroyed his little smash cake. He was unlike his brother where he actually stuck his hands in and ate the frosting/cake. He was into it. I finally removed the cake from his clutches and gave him a bath. There was no way in Hell I was going to let him eat an entire 8' cake. Urgh.
We had a nice time. Joshua got lots of nice clothes for the summer and winter. He slept well that night. Jacob too!
