Now I remember why I hate Texas...

The heat. The ever so wonderful heat of summertime is upon us. I can't tell you how hard it was for me to breathe in the humidity and soak up the sun at the park today. I felt like I was being choked and gagged as I sat watching my red faced boys play on the equipment. I tried a new park that wasn't as shaded as some of the others and it was horrid. I will never go to that one again this summer. My arms are feeling toasty and I've had to turn on all the ceiling fans in the rooms I've been in just to cool down. This is the time of year that I swear we're picking up and moving to Colorado. I hate the heat!

I guess the weather isn't working for either of us today. I was complaining because it was 40 degrees when I woke up. The flip side to roasting in Texas :) It's very sad that I'm still using the furnance in June. CRAZINESS.

We aren't from Texas and still haven't gotten used to the humidity and heat, but what I hate more is the mosquitoes. We have an awesome yard but can't enjoy it for the darn mosquitoes.
