Bad Blogger

I've been such a bad blogger lately. I'm so tired from this pregnancy that I can hardly keep my eyes open when I sit down for 5 seconds. It's crazy how drained I'm feeling. Not that I'm complaining, but I'm not my usual energetic self, that's for sure!

We've had a busy February so far. I discovered I am pregnant on January 28th through a blood test at the RE's office following our 7th injectible IUI cycle. I was really shocked because I didn't do a HPT at home and I just "knew" AF was showing. What a lovely surprise I received that day. So far everything is going great with the pregnancy and we were even able to see the heart beat yesterday on an ultrasound. I have been keeping up with my TTC blog so you can see the little bean there.

I turn 32 this month and am having a get together with close friends on February 23rd. I'm really looking forward to it. We're all going out to a nice dinner and dancing afterwards. I can't have my normal cocktails, but I'll live. It's all about the fellowship and laughter and I know there will lots of both.

The every day life stuff keeps me busy too. Between two boys, household duties, a husband, a dog, family and friends life just seems so overwhelming sometimes. I could have worse problems though and I know that. It's just balancing everything and keeping organized that stresses me out. I'm working on it though and seem to be doing a pretty good job. Or so I'm told.

Mr. Big took the oldest up to his office this morning to get some work done. I've just had the little one to deal with this morning, which has been effortless (or so it seems compared to two). I'm making a huge pot of beef stew and cornbread tonight for dinner. Comfort food at it's finest! The rain is supposed to start this afternoon here in Houston and we're going to hold cover in the house and just enjoy one another's company. Nothing like a laid back Saturday afternoon.

Yay for seeing the hb! I love that you found out the day I had Gabriel- good baby vibes all around on that day. :-)

Glad the u/s went well, and I'm *glad* you're feeling so tired...always a good sign in early pregnancy! :)

I just don't know how you keep up with it all. Get as much rest as you can.
