The Homestretch!

I haven't posted much about my pregnancy here since I keep a pregnancy blog, but thought I'd share that I'll be 36 weeks on Tuesday. I had Joshua at 36 weeks and 3 days. So, I feel like we're getting closer and closer to meeting our little girl. Jacob was born at 37 and a half weeks. My new OB is hoping I make it to 38 weeks and scheduled me last week for September 26th at 12 pm. Lunch break delivery? So, we'll see if I make it that far. The pregnancy has really gone well this time. It's been my easiest pregnancy as far as bedrest and blood pressure issues. I have had absolutely no bedrest and my blood pressure (with a baby aspirin daily) has been normal. Granted there have been some things to freak me out like false positive on my AFP test, failed my one hour GD test and the cerclage surgery, but all in all, I can't complain too much. We discovered last week that amniotic fluid is running on low at a 7. They don't like to see it get below a 5 or they will deliver the baby. I have been going in weekly for the NST and ultrasounds to check the pockets of fluid around the baby. Hopefully with the oral rehydration approach and my weekly appointments things will be okay and no delivery will be necessary early. I'm praying for that!

This has gotten long, but my main point was to say that in less than three weeks we're scheduled to meet our daughter. I can't wait to hold her for the first time and start creating memories with her. I know she will light up our worlds just as her precious brothers have done.
